Returns & Cancellations

ExamTablesDirect is an authorized dealer of Midmark, UMF Medical, and Clinton Industries. We sell both in-stock items shipped from our Farmingdale, NY facility and made-to-order products built by the manufacturer to your specifications.

Cancellations

Before Shipment

Orders cancelled before the item ships are eligible for a refund with a 5% cancellation fee. Contact us as soon as possible — once a shipment is picked up by the carrier, the "after shipment" return policy applies instead.

After Shipment

Orders cancelled after shipment are treated as a return. Standard restocking fees and return freight costs apply (see Tables — 30-Day Return Policy below).

Made-to-Order Units

Custom-configured and made-to-order units may not be cancellable once production has begun. Contact us immediately if you need to cancel — we will confirm with the manufacturer whether cancellation is still possible.

Tables — 30-Day Return Policy

All exam tables, treatment tables, and power tables may be returned within 30 days of delivery, including made-to-order and custom-configured units. All returns require a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) prior to shipping — contact us first.

Restocking Fees

The restocking fee is deducted from your refund total.

Return Freight

Return freight is the buyer's responsibility. You must arrange and pay for return shipping to our Farmingdale, NY facility. Original outbound freight charges are non-refundable regardless of return reason.

Partial Order Returns

If you return one or more tables from a multi-unit order that received a discount (volume pricing, promotional code, or bundle pricing), the discount will be reversed on the returned items and the adjusted amount reflected in your refund.

Manufacturer Warranties

Midmark, UMF Medical, and Clinton Industries each carry their own manufacturer warranties, which are separate from this return policy. If your issue may be covered under warranty, contact us and we'll help direct you to the right claim process.

Refunds

Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–7 business days of receipt and inspection.

Non-Table Items

Accessories, parts, and non-table products are not eligible for return unless they arrive damaged or incorrect.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

Applies to all products. Inspect all deliveries at the time of receipt. If the shipment arrives visibly damaged, note it on the carrier's delivery receipt before signing. For concealed damage discovered after delivery, contact us within 3 business days. We will file the freight claim on your behalf.

We provide shipping insurance on every order. A base liability amount is included at no cost; additional full-value coverage is available at checkout. Important: freight claims can take up to 60 days to resolve, and we are unable to issue replacements until a claim is cleared. If you believe you'll need a replacement sooner, we recommend purchasing additional coverage at checkout so a resolution can proceed in parallel.
